All Corporations in Canada are required to register in the provinces in which they will conduct business.
Business number is a unique, 9-digit standard identification number for businesses. It is required for any CRA program (like GST/HST, Payroll deduction or Export/Import accounts) registrations.
Payroll Account is required when a corporation hire a full time or part time employee.
Import/Export Account is mandatory if you are planning to import or export goods into or out or Canada.
WSIB (Ontario Worker's Safety and Inury Board) Account is required and obligatory if a corporation plan to have employee.
Tax Account is mandatory if taxable sales are $30.000 or more in a year.
It is very important to choose an unique name. As there are no name protection for small businesses, any name will be accepted by the Goverment, however if the name deceptively similar to an existing name, you risk legal action being taken by the other party.
